The Michaux Center for Urban Coastal Ecosystems

The Michaux Center focuses on two main areas:

the Noisette Creek Preserve and the MiniFarm.

The long-term goal for the our Center for Urban Coastal Ecosystems is to construct it as a Living Building. A Living Building must meet higher standards than LEED. It must actually produce more than it consumes, according to Sustainability Report & Matrix, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, February 2001.
